So this is me, in the little corner of my office a

So this is me, in the little corner of my office aka my living room, playroom, tv area: just pick the you like the most.
My name is Chiara 👩🏻‍💻 the one behind Chiara Studio.
I’m a mom to 2 👧🏻👦🏻, a good wife when he behaves 🥷🏻, a digital marketer who helps small businesses with websites and email marketing (the ninja refers to the husband’s part, in case you were wondering).

I am Italian and now I live in Zürich.
I have lived on 3 different countries and my mom keeps asking if Sicily is the fourth.
I love to walk and to travel but also spend long hours on the sofa watching tv, reading books or eating, while no one (= kids) is watching because eating on the sofa is clearly forbidden. Sure.
 I love drinking coffee, of course, and I am a friend of good laughters, slower rhythms and simple things: this is why I sometimes prefer a tramezzino instead of a 5 hours-long-to-prepare lasagna. I love fashion, a lot, although since I’ve had kids I haven’t treated myself like the fashion addicted I can be. True story.
I cannot do botox because I’m too old apparently, right @themeazuredlife 🦄
but for my bday, I would be happy to receive eye patches like there’s no tomorrow 😄
 I always wanted to run my own business and voila. I thought it would have been different, easier somehow: long hours are still an unfortunate downside although I am touched and thankful for those who trust me ❤ If, because of this, you find myself surprised, with a lost expression on my face, please come close, pinch me and let's go have a ☕️ together.

Less elaborated photos this year. What about you?
 I’m not good in taking pictures🦶🏻not to mention that it’s quite time-consuming to plan and edit a good shot. At least for me. 
It’s in my long due wish list to make a photography course, maybe with @ire.ferri who I like for her no-frills approach and her bang on captions 🎸

But as for now, I savour the re-discovery of creativity (and plain silliness because it’s always a good diversion).
Creativity at work is the habit I missed more in the past motherhood years and I’m glad to show up again. To myself.

Are we sure that a simple broken plate will ruin our faces? Not quite.

We all have a story to tell ourselves and we hold on to it. Then we make mistakes and the world outside arrives to provoke: the two realities overlap and create uncertainties, put us in crisis. They change us.
The reality is that, during these times, we don't see the true dimension well enough and it seems to us that a simple mistake is a depressing fact.

So let's let the circumstances in 2021 touch us but without upsetting us and let's learn to choose an attitude of possibility and resilience.  Thanks to the pretty face by Forsanetti @fornasettiofficial 😍

I took this photo on a beach in Rome, while I was still processing various griefs and a wearisome break up. Sometimes at night I'd go to bed sobbing and in the morning I'd automagically get dressed and go to work.

I'm smiling here, though. And I laughed out loud too. After 20 years, I still remember this fine day spent under a pale winter sun.
 It's not all lost or sad or endless. Everything passes and in everything we find yourself. Find the good vibe that pushes you forward.
